"When Nina Revskaya puts her remarkable jewelry collection up for auction, the former Bolshoi ballerina finds herself overwhelmed by memories of the events that changed her life half a century earlier."
I really liked this book: descriptions of what a ballerina's life was like in Moscow under Stalin; goings-on during a modern day jewelry auction; interlinking histories of interesting characters --  all very well researched and well-written.
